Business Improvement District

The purpose of the Business Improvement District board is to make additional improvements within the boundaries of the Central Business District, which are subject to review and approval by the City Council.  

Established by: Ordinance 0-1997-22
Number of Board Members: Five
Length of Term: Three Years
Council Liaison: None
Special Requirements: Be a qualified elector of the District and fulfill one of the following requirements: be a resident of the City, hold a City of Durango Retail Sales Tax License, own property in Business Improvement District.
Regular Meeting Time: 3rd Wednesday of the month @ 3PM at the Bank of CO Room#210
