City Council considers all viable funding sources in the preservation of open space, including the voter-approved City Parks, Open Space and Trails Fund, other public funding sources such as Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO), and private donations to the tax-deductible City of Durango Enrichment Fund.

Natural Lands Preservation Advisory Board meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.
