Recycling Satellite Drop-Off sites

The City will begin collecting type 1 and type 2 plastic bottles and jugs on Monday, February 27th at the City’s Recycling Center, located at 710 Tech Center Drive. The City’s will no longer accept plastic materials at the other public drop-off locations.

Residents may drop off properly prepared mixed papers, corrugated cardboard, mixed cans, and glass at the following locations:

Durango Area:

• Durango Recycling Center, 710 Tech Center Dr
• Behind the North Main City Market, 3100 block of East 2nd Ave
• Behind Wagon Wheel Liquor, 30 Town Plaza 

Ignacio:

• On Becker Street across from the high school.

The Durango Recycling Center is open from 9am-3pm, M-F
